Double Dry-Hopped Fuego - This variant of Fuego uses twice the amount of hops during the dry-hop portion of the brewing cycle. DDH Fuego is full of juicy citrus aromas that softens an already crushable IPA into an exceptionally special drinking experience.

Our first take on the Cold IPA style, Cold Gold is an exploration in modern West Coast IPA brewing. Light gold in color from Pilsner and wheat malt with an extremely light and crisp body from a hefty addition of flaked rice in the grist. Hop aromatics shine bright, conjuring spicy mango, passion fruit, and lemongrass. Savory flavors reminiscent of Sauvignon Blanc grapes, fruity pebbles, and grapefruit. Dangerously drinkable for it's 7.2% ABV with a crisp and clean finish. Kettle, whirlpool and dry hopped with Zappa, Zeus, Centennial and Hallertau Blanc.

In 1828, the University of Virginia created their own fire company made up of students, professors, and community members. Their sole fire engine was called the Hydraulion, a pump wagon with the waterpower of 16 men. The UVA Fire Company left their mark for almost 100 years before giving way to the town of Charlottesville’s Fire Department. Our Hydraulion Red is a nod to not only UVA’s firefighters, but the brave men and women everywhere who risk their lives every day, while saving ours. This Irish-Style Red is a perfectly balanced beer with a great caramel sweetness alongside a tangy, citrusy hop profile.

Black with garnet highlights, this porter is rich and full flavored with notes of chocolate, coffee and smoke playing off the sweeter toffee and dark dried fruit tones.

Well hello old friend, a nice dark mild to grace us during MARCH MILDNESS. We brewed this one with Maris Otter and a fun assortment of dark and roasted malts and hopped it with a bit of Fuggles and Polaris. It has notes of pumpernickel, dried fig, old library books, black currant jam, coffee over ice, and some homemade biscuits.

Brewed with Pilsner malt and a small amount of Sauermalz to bring out a traditional, rounded note.

Brewed with baby ginger from Casselmonte Farm and wildflower honey from Bearer Farms, Hardywood Gingerbread Stout captures the terroir of central Virginia in a rich, creamy libation with a velvety mouthfeel and an intriguing evolution of flavors from milk chocolate and vanilla to honeycomb and cinnamon to a snap of ginger in the finish.
Deep, dark chocolate in color with a mahogany tint and a frothy, caramel colored head, Hardywood Gingerbread Stout offers aromatics of holiday spice originating from the ginger, and balanced with a generous dose of whole Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans and Vietnamese cinnamon. Milk sugar (lactose) contributes to the full body of this stout and tames its roasty character, while oats lend a silky quality. Enjoy fresh, or cellar for a special occasion.
